Website Returns

Subject to the right of consumers to return goods for refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, SRS Microsystems Ltd does not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly advised to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering.

We offer customers the opportunity to return goods up to 14 days after receipt (“the Returns Period”), subject to the terms and conditions in this returns policy.

You must prior to returning any goods received, contact our customer support team or by completing our online form to obtain an RMA number. Failure to contact us in respect of a return or cancellation in line with one of the methods set out above will result in a delay in processing your refund or the product being returned to you. All authorised returns must be returned to Returns Department, SRS Microsystems Ltd, Unit 1, Chess Business Park, Moor Road, Chesham HP5 1SD

If you exercise your right to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to SRS Microsystems Ltd (within 14 days of notifying us) at your own risk and cost, therefore we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery method, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. For items which cannot ordinarily be returned by post, we will at your request use our reasonable endeavours to arrange a courier to collect the goods; the estimated maximum cost of this would be £15 per item. (See below in relation to the return of faulty goods.)

All returns are subject to the following conditions, except where the goods are faulty or incorrectly described on the Web Site.
  • Your item is complete and in 'as new' saleable condition:
  • If you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging
  • You haven't used the item
  • The item contains no personal data and hasn't been registered to a user
  • The item must be returned within 14 days of you requesting to return it.
  • While you have to pay to return the goods, we will refund the standard delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place (if you paid for delivery). If you opted for an enhanced service e.g before 9am, we will only refund the standard delivery cost.
  • Any use of the product is relative to examining it, and ensuring it suits your needs. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. SRS Microsystems Ltd does not sell products on a trial basis.
  • A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. We may refuse the return of items without the original packaging or where it has been returned in poor condition.
  • Software, memory cards and DVDs can only be accepted if still sealed. This policy is to avoid any potential breach of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (CDPA) 1988. All opened software is exempt from return under the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Software that arrives damaged or is physically faulty may be returned under our normal returns policy.
  • It is returned with the original box, packing and any accessories you received with it.
  • A proof of purchase must be supplied.
  • You also return any free gifts which came with the product, which also must be in their original packaging and in a saleable condition
  • We will not refund any items that have been specially ordered to your individual specification or personalised.
  • The item has not had any cashback claimed (if applicable)
  • Any free gift dependant on purchase must be returned with the original item.
  • Gift Vouchers are not eligible for exchange or refund
Until such time as you return the goods to us you must take reasonable care of the item(s). Any use of or damage to the delivered goods or product packaging beyond that necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery may result in you incurring a restocking charge to cover the loss that we might reasonably expect to incur in reselling the item(s). We may refuse the return of items without the original packaging or where it has been returned in poor condition.

Subject to the above, if you exercise your right to cancel your order within 14 days (where the goods are not found to be faulty), we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

Faulty goods: For faulty goods we offer the following terms:
  • You will always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery.
  • If the fault has occurred within the first six months after delivery but after the first 30 days, you can ask us to repair or replace faulty goods. However, we can, choose the solution that is more proportionate or practical for us. In the majority of cases, we will send an item for repair in the first instance. If the repair is unsuccessful, you can then claim a replacement or a full refund. Alternatively we will seek to agree a price reduction with you if you wish to keep the product.
  • After six months, unless you can demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of original delivery or we have previously arranged a repair and this has failed to resolve the fault, our liability will be limited to providing you with reasonable support to make a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.
In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault and, if no fault is found, return the product to you. In these circumstances, no refund will be processed until the returned goods have been received by us and an appraisal made as to any fault. This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Any refund due to a fault or other defect will include a refund of the delivery charge. In such circumstances we will also pay for your costs of returning the goods (up to £10 in the UK and £20 outside the UK). Beyond six months you will be responsible for covering the costs of returning the goods (unless you have been able to establish that the goods were defective at the time of original delivery, in which case we will reimburse your costs as set out above). We strongly recommend you use an insured method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. Replacement goods are sent by standard delivery only (i.e. premium services are not available).

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned products.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Details of your statutory rights are available from the citizens advice bureau or consumer direct.

Sony a6100 Mirrorless Camera in Black with 16-50mm OSS and 55-210mm Lenses

Season:New

Brand:Sony

Code:ILCE6100AXB.CEC

With its extraordinary AF speed and performance, and persistent subject tracking, the Sony α6100a skillfully handles the mechanics of photography so that you'll be free to concentrate on more creative aspects. It captures split-second action and delivers beautiful images even in difficult settings, for stunning still shots and high-resolution 4K movies.

Innovative image-processing system
The camera's APS-C size, 24.2-megapixel19 ExmorTM CMOS sensor provides a wide sensitivity range and excellent low-noise performance. In conjunction with the latest-generation BIONZ XTM image processing engine, it delivers beautiful, high-resolution images with superior image clarity and texture reproduction.

14-bit RAW output for rich tonal gradation
True 14-bit RAW images are delivered via a high-performance LSI and the BIONZ X image processor. To retain the smoothest, most natural tonal gradations, all processing occurs at 16-bit, preventing any dithering or processing errors from being introduced into the final 14-bit RAW image output.

Unparalleled AF performance
Fast, accurate autofocus captures fleeting moments in stunning detail, thanks to a combination of innovative technologies. A total of 425 phase-detection AF points work in conjunction with contrast-detection AF to achieve a remarkable 0.02-sec. acquisition speed, while High-density AF Tracking Technology reliably follows even erratically moving subjects.

Real-time Tracking
When you're tracking a fast-moving subject, the camera's automatic motion tracker uses an AI subject recognition algorithm that draws on colour, pattern (brightness), subject distance (depth) and face/eye information to recognise and maintain focus on your subject.

Real-time Eye AF for better portrait shots
The camera's Real-time Eye AF system detects and autofocuses on the eyes of your subjects when you half-press the shutter, and you can even prioritise your subject's left or right eye. When AF-C is set it maintains a stable focus even when the face is partially hidden or backlit, or the subject is facing downwards.

Real-time Eye AF for animal
The subject-recognition technology used in Real-time Eye AF has been adapted to support animal as well as human. When activated, it provides fast, precise, automatic detection and tracking of animals' eyes, for better pet portraits and wildlife shots.

High-speed continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking
Capture every instant of fast-moving action with continuous shooting at up to 11fps, or 8fps in silent-shutter mode, and for up to 7717 frames. Display lag has been minimised so, even in the live-view mode, up to 8fps can be precisely captured. Continuously shot images can conveniently be displayed in groups in playback mode.

180°-tiltable LCD screen
The 3.0-type LCD monitor offers 921k-dot resolution for a clear view of what you're shooting. It's designed to tilt upward a full 180° and downward by 74° for easy framing of vlogs and selfies and more convenient low-angle and high-angle shooting.

Versatile touch operations
The camera's LCD panel supports intuitive touch operations such as Touch Pad (to smoothly move the focus point), Touch Focus (to set the focus point), Touch Shutter (to release the shutter), and Touch Tracking (to activate Real-Time AF).

4K movie recording in high-bit-rate XAVC S format
Super 35mm format, 4K movie recording with full pixel readout and no pixel binning allows oversampling of around 2.4x20 the image information needed for 4K (QFHD: 3840 x 2160). By downscaling from the equivalent of 6K resolution, captured videos benefit from even more realism and depth. The high-bit-rate (up to 100Mbps for 4K 30p/24p) XAVC S21 video codec ensures professional-quality images in a consumer-friendly format.

Steady, precise AF tracking for better movies
Fast Hybrid AF provides high speed, accuracy and excellent tracking performance to meet the stringent autofocus demands of 4K movies. AF tracking sensitivity can be adjusted for either stable focus or responsive refocusing, depending on the nature of the scene, and Touch Tracking lets you initiate tracking of a moving subject simply by touching the LCD screen.

Slow and Quick motion and high-speed 120fps recording
Slow motion (at up to 5x) and quick motion (at up to 60x)22 video can be produced in-camera, with no post-processing required, at up to Full HD resolution. Additionally, high bit-rate (up to 100Mbps) and high frame-rate (up to 120p) Full HD recordings can be used to create slow-motion movies in post-production.

High-quality movie making
The α6100 is ready for videography workflows, with clean HDMI output, variable framerates, and proxy recording. In addition, a range of functions are included to enhance movie recording accuracy, such as the display of overlay markers or gridlines, zebra exposure metering, or ISO values when shooting with ISO Auto. It's also easy to extract still frames directly from your movies in playback mode.

Support for high-quality mic and audio input
An external microphone can be attached directly via the camera's microphone jack, and you also have an option for line and 48V phantom powered input using the separately available XLR adaptor kit. This allows the connection of a wide range of high-end microphones for better audio in your movie recordings.

One-touch remote, One-touch sharing, location information
The One-touch remote feature lets you use your mobile device as a viewfinder and remote control. One-touch sharing allows you to transfer photos and videos to a mobile device for social media sharing. The camera can also use your mobile phone's location data via Bluetooth® to geo-tag your images. (These mobile device functions are available via Sony's Imaging Edge Mobile app.)
