How do we collect your information?

When you visit the Website

We collect personal data from you when you browse our store or purchase something from SRS.

For example, you will provide personal data to us when you;

  • Create a user account
  • When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.


We will inform you if we wish to access more than just basic account information during this process, so you can let us know you are happy to share this details with us.


How do you get my consent?

Your personal information will only be used as set out in SRS's privacy policy. Submitting your details indicates your consent, for the time being, that we and our partners may contact you about products and services that will be of interest to you via post, phone, email and SMS.

Under the new GDPR regulations there are 6 lawful bases under which organisations can collect, use and store personal data. SRS’s legal basis for collecting and using the personal information falls under Consent, Contract and Legitimate interest.

You can opt-out at any by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or use the opt-out form in our privacy policy to tell us your preference when submitting your details; we will then not contact you again until you ask us to do so.

Legitimate Interests - for all of our services we rely on our legitimate business interests to collect and use your personal data. In such cases, we have balanced our interests with yours and do not believe these activities will have a negative impact on your privacy rights and freedoms.

When you provide us with payment data it is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and sent directly to our payment provider, Sagepay. Your purchase transaction data is never stored by us and is sent directly to Sagepay.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information.

Third-party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is passed directly to our payment provider, Sagepay and encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.
