Website Returns

Subject to the right of consumers to return goods for refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, SRS Microsystems Ltd does not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly advised to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering.

We offer customers the opportunity to return goods up to 14 days after receipt (“the Returns Period”), subject to the terms and conditions in this returns policy.

You must prior to returning any goods received, contact our customer support team or by completing our online form to obtain an RMA number. Failure to contact us in respect of a return or cancellation in line with one of the methods set out above will result in a delay in processing your refund or the product being returned to you. All authorised returns must be returned to Returns Department, SRS Microsystems Ltd, 90-92 The Parade, High Street, Watford, Herts WD17 1AW

If you exercise your right to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to SRS Microsystems Ltd (within 14 days of notifying us) at your own risk and cost, therefore we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery method, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. For items which cannot ordinarily be returned by post, we will at your request use our reasonable endeavours to arrange a courier to collect the goods; the estimated maximum cost of this would be £15 per item. (See below in relation to the return of faulty goods.)

All returns are subject to the following conditions, except where the goods are faulty or incorrectly described on the Web Site.
  • Your item is complete and in 'as new' saleable condition:
  • If you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging
  • You haven't used the item
  • The item contains no personal data and hasn't been registered to a user
  • The item must be returned within 14 days of you requesting to return it.
  • While you have to pay to return the goods, we will refund the standard delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place (if you paid for delivery). If you opted for an enhanced service e.g before 9am, we will only refund the standard delivery cost.
  • Any use of the product is relative to examining it, and ensuring it suits your needs. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. SRS Microsystems Ltd does not sell products on a trial basis.
  • A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. We may refuse the return of items without the original packaging or where it has been returned in poor condition.
  • Software, memory cards and DVDs can only be accepted if still sealed. This policy is to avoid any potential breach of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (CDPA) 1988. All opened software is exempt from return under the terms of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Software that arrives damaged or is physically faulty may be returned under our normal returns policy.
  • It is returned with the original box, packing and any accessories you received with it.
  • A proof of purchase must be supplied.
  • You also return any free gifts which came with the product, which also must be in their original packaging and in a saleable condition
  • We will not refund any items that have been specially ordered to your individual specification or personalised.
  • The item has not had any cashback claimed (if applicable)
  • Any free gift dependant on purchase must be returned with the original item.
  • Gift Vouchers are not eligible for exchange or refund
Until such time as you return the goods to us you must take reasonable care of the item(s). Any use of or damage to the delivered goods or product packaging beyond that necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery may result in you incurring a restocking charge to cover the loss that we might reasonably expect to incur in reselling the item(s). We may refuse the return of items without the original packaging or where it has been returned in poor condition.

Subject to the above, if you exercise your right to cancel your order within 14 days (where the goods are not found to be faulty), we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

Faulty goods: For faulty goods we offer the following terms:
  • You will always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery.
  • If the fault has occurred within the first six months after delivery but after the first 30 days, you can ask us to repair or replace faulty goods. However, we can, choose the solution that is more proportionate or practical for us. In the majority of cases, we will send an item for repair in the first instance. If the repair is unsuccessful, you can then claim a replacement or a full refund. Alternatively we will seek to agree a price reduction with you if you wish to keep the product.
  • After six months, unless you can demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of original delivery or we have previously arranged a repair and this has failed to resolve the fault, our liability will be limited to providing you with reasonable support to make a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.
In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault and, if no fault is found, return the product to you. In these circumstances, no refund will be processed until the returned goods have been received by us and an appraisal made as to any fault. This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Any refund due to a fault or other defect will include a refund of the delivery charge. In such circumstances we will also pay for your costs of returning the goods (up to £10 in the UK and £20 outside the UK). Beyond six months you will be responsible for covering the costs of returning the goods (unless you have been able to establish that the goods were defective at the time of original delivery, in which case we will reimburse your costs as set out above). We strongly recommend you use an insured method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. Replacement goods are sent by standard delivery only (i.e. premium services are not available).

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned products.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Details of your statutory rights are available from the citizens advice bureau or consumer direct.

Panasonic Lumix G80 Camera with 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. G VARIO

Season:Current

Brand:Panasonic

Code:DMC-G80MEB-K

The rugged Panasonic Lumix G80 with 12-60mm lens incorporates a host of advanced technologies and practical functions, including an updated dual Image Stabilisation system. Furthermore, it has 4K video recording capability, with 8-megapixel stills extraction.

Stunning Clarity

The new LUMIX DMC-G80 features an updated Image Stabilisation system. By incorporating new gyro-sensor technology, the O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer, 2-axis) and B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer, 5-axis) are able to work in perfect harmony and with outstanding accuracy. With improved suppression of blur, resulting pictures and videos remain beautifully crisp despite vibrations caused by shaking hands or traversing outdoor terrain.

Electromagnetic Drive

To further minimise unwanted vibration, the LUMIX DMC-G80 also utilises an electromagnetic drive in the shutter unit. The shock caused by the movement of shutter diaphragm is dramatically reduced and shutter sound is also minimised. Together with the adoption of solid magnesium for the front panel, shutter vibration is reduced by approx. 90% compared with the DMC-G80™s predecessor, the G7.

High Quality

The 16.0-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and new Venus Engine combine to allow users to shoot vibrant, true-to-life high quality images with excellent resolution, high contrast, impressive colour reproduction and max. ISO 25600 high sensitivity. By removing the Low Pass Filter from the DMC-G80™s sensor, the limiting resolution is improved by approx. 10%. At the same time, the Venus Engine reproduces vibrant, impressive colour such as clear sky by dividing hue, saturation and luminosity and finely adjusting them individually.

4K Video Recording

Panasonic™s LUMIX G cameras are not only renowned for their still image quality, but also for their high quality video capability in 4K. The LUMIX DMC-G80 records stunningly smooth, high-resolution QFHD 4K video in 3840x2160 at 25p (50Hz) or 24p in MP4 in addition to full-HD 1,920 x 1,080 at 50p (50 Hz) videos in AVCHD Progressive or MP4 (MPEG-4 / H.264) format with practical full-time AF. The 4K Photo function allows users to extract an 8-megapixel still with exact precision, enabling even the most fleeting moment to be caught in a still image.

Contrast AF

The DMC-G80™s contrast AF achieves even faster and more precise focusing with digital signal communication at max. 240 fps. The Contrast AF system in the LUMIX DMC-G80 is further enhanced by Panasonic™s integration of Depth From Defocus (DFD) technology which shortens the focusing time even further.

Post Focus Function

Even if focus is not exactly as the user intended when the shutter is pressed, the LUMIX DMC-G80 also comes with the Post Focus function that enables users to select the specific focal point even after shooting particularly helpful in situations like macro shooting where severe focusing is required. The camera now supports a Focus Stacking function. As taking a single macro photo with specific areas in focus can sometimes be difficult, Focus Stacking enables users to take multiple images of the same frame with different aperture values, then combine them into one image and select the area to be in focus.

Low-Light AF

In addition, Low Light AF makes it possible to set focus on the subject more precisely in extremely low-lit situations (-4EV) such as wildlife photography at dawn or dusk, while Starlight AF, allows budding astronomers to capture individual stars and constellations in the night sky.

Tough Design

To withstand the demands of heavy field use, the DMC-G80 adopts rugged design with a full die-cast magnesium front frame. It also features splash and dust proof construction thanks to the careful sealing on every joint, dial and button.

Ergonomic Design

To further enhance control, the LUMIX DMC-G80 comes with ergonomically-designed thick grip for a stable holding even in one hand. The front/rear dual dial system enables direct setting. For example, users can adjust white balance with a front dial and set ISO with a rear dial while choosing the shutter speed or monitoring the noise effect on the rear screen ideal when dealing with complex lighting situations.

2,360K-dot OLED

The DMC-G80 boasts a large 2,360K-dot OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) LVF (Live View Finder) with a magnification ratio of approx. 1.48x / 0.74x (35mm camera equiv.) and 100% field of view. It delivers high speed response with minimum time lag of less than 0.01 sec as well as 10,000:1 high contrast for exceptional visibility, plus, the eye point of approximately 20 mm offers high visibility and comfort even for users wearing glasses. Adopting a static-type touch control system, the 3-inch (7,62cm), 1040K-dot, free-angle rear screen is easy and intuitively to control. It also tilts vertically by 270-degree, which makes shooting overhead or at low angles even easier.

Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens

Included with the camera body is this versatile 24-120mm equivalent wide-to-tele zoom, which is well-suited to a variety of shooting applications. This POWER O.I.S. system pairs with the camera's sensor-shift IS system, using Dual I.S., for effective control of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. The lens also utilizes a trio of aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element to minimise spherical and chromatic aberrations for increased clarity and sharpness.
