The Giotto's Vitruvian VGRN tripods are designed to offer photographers lightweight and compact tripod kits supplied with a ball head.
Giotto's have designed the tripod with "reverse technology" legs so that when collapsed they fold through 180 degrees and surround the tripod centre column and head - this makes the kits more compact and easier to carry between locations.
The Giottos VGRN8265 has a maximum operating height of 171cm and weight capacity of up to 9kg. The Giottos VGR8265 uses 7 layer carbon fibre and weighs just 1.72kg. The MH5501-652 ball head supplied with these legs offers on/off and friction control plus a separate pan lock. It has a quick release plate for fast and easy camera attachment and removal while spirit levels will ensure accurate set up.
But the Gittos VGRN8265 is not just a tripod, simply unscrew the tripod leg, remove the centre column and head, then join them together to produce a monopod.
The main tripod castings are made from a forged aluminium alloy for strength and the quick action twist leg locks require only 1/8 turn to lock and unlock.
VGRN tripods feature a splittable centre column to improve low level photography options and all VGRN tripods are supplied with a carry bag.
