Following the software installation process, it takes just a few moments to connect the scanner to your computer through your USB 2.0 port. Then usng the included software, each negative or slide takes under 5 seconds to copy and download into a digital file (jpg).
No separate power supply is required, as the unit is powered by the USB 2.0 connection.
Using a 5 mega pixel CMOS image sensor with 3,600 dpi interpolation and 48-bit colour scan, the copier automatically controls the exposure and colour balance. With a fixed focus 4 element lens and a white LED backlight, your image is copies almost instantly. The software then enables you to make any minor adjustments you wish to make.
Measuring 16.5 x 9 x 9cm with a smart black soft touch finish, the copier is compatible with both Windows XP and the latest Vista operating systems, the product requires a USB 2.0 high speed connection.
